The Underwater Time Delay Fuses type PPZ are designed to activate various explosive charges or destroy unexploded ordinance under water. The fuse PPZ-2B contains 50 g RDX and is intended for direct detonation of underwater charges placed behind a steel plate up to 20mm thick. A system of magnets is used to ensure the stable fixation to the target. The fuse PPZ-3M activates a Nonel
detonating wire through Primer No 8.
Each fuse is provided with a water soluble lock of the fire circuit, which guarantees safety during assembly, work or programming outside or under water.
The delay time is set by two buttons on land or under water. The activation of the fuse is controlled by a microprocessor.
