The specialized camera is a compact, energy-autonomous device with interchangeable lenses and easy within minutes installation. It has a high-sensitivity and high dynamic range CMOS imaging sensor chip making it operational at various illumination conditions. It is supplied with infrared LED emitters for night conditions. Advanced Computer Vision algorithms are embedded in a micro-processor situated inside the Camera’s box. The functionalities include real-time video stream processing with object detection, tracking and classification. Each object in the Camera’s field is tracked and the Software derives various information about it such as category (human, animal, vehicle and user defined categories), map coordinates, speed, acceleration, trajectory, direction, size, etc. The Camera transmits data about the objects wireless via short encrypted syntactic messages to the Sensor Node / Command post. It also stores snapshots (cropped images) of objects that it encounters in its visual field. These images can be requested to download wireless by the operator of the Portable Command Post.

The camera can be distributed with different outside layouts for better disguise.

The Visual Detector is installed in the secured perimeter with a few setting procedures performed by the personnel. It can be placed on its own lightweight tripod stand or at some other place (a pole, a tree, etc.) convenient for visual observation.

SPECIALIZED CAMERA SOFTWARE HIGHLIGHTS

The software of the Specialized Camera uses self-calibration mode in accordance with the light conditions and position of sight. Intelligent – advanced computer vision algorithms are embedded and result to object identification, classification, location and tracking. Rich data of identified objects is obtained and processed, such as: categorization (human, vehicle, animal, etc), speed, direction of movement, color, size, behavior.

Yellow zone – there are objects identified as potential threats for the security
