Each Radio Transceiver Modulus establishes a mesh network, which has the following advantages: Network setup is simple; More flexibility to expand the network; All nodes can sleep. No single point of failure associated with relying on gateway or coordinator to maintain time synchronization. Allowing a node to sleep reduces power consumption, which is especially helpful for nodes that are battery powered; Additionally, the wireless protocol uses a simplified addressing method, which improves network setup and troubleshooting; Interoperability: Proprietary; Interference Tolerance: 900 MHz: Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS); Addressing: MAC address (64 bit); Protection against unauthorized access to the network: Once a network is established, access to the network is granted only if the MAC address of the device is among a list of trusted MAC addresses.
RADIO TRANSCEIVER MODULE MAIN COMPONENTS
The Radio Transceiver Module RTM comprises:
1. Radio Transceiver Unit – 1 pc.
2. Coupler – 1 pc.
3. Antenna – 1 pc.
DELIVERY SET
1. Radio Transceiver Unit – 2 pc.
2. Coupler – 2 pc.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
Each Radio Transceiver Modulus extends the mesh network. Is helps to retranslate the data to remote command center.
MARKING
Radio Transceiver Unit has the following marking:
– RTM – Radio Transceiver Module;
PACKING
The RTM composite parts are packed in plastic “Explorer” case together with the SS-3 composite parts. The space between the composite parts in the case is filed with foam plastic for protection against impact.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
1. RTM composite parts can be stored in unheated storehouses and in field conditions in transportation packing. In field conditions it is necessary to use underlying surface or grate.
2. Mine composite parts can be transported by any kind of transport.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MWB
The Radio Transceiver Modules are placed between the sensor field region and command center to ensure the data retranslation.
