АDD-400-1 can be used either independently or in groups or in anti-drone fields for the following purposes:

  • protection of military or civil infrastructure from drone air surveillance;
  • protection of military or civil infrastructure from drone attack.

Communication
The communication and transmission/reception of commands between the main component parts of ADD (command unit, sensor box, jamming device and 6 to 12 warheads with radio fuses) are performed by coded signals.

The control of device operation is realized by two radio command directions, as follows:

  • First radio direction – bidirectional between the Command unit and Sensor unit. Coded radio messages are exchanged to establish the mine operational status;
  • Second radio direction – unidirectional from the Sensor unit to the radio fuses and jamming device. Coded radio messages are transmitted to establish the radio fuse operational status.

The warheads can be activated/desactivated or neutralized or detonated through radio remote control from the Command unit.
